Poor word construction on my part…
Whilst working on my website I make a major error and I need to Restore from a BackUp. I use the latest BackUp and hey presto the magic works…well done UpDraft!
Next, because I am stupid, I repeat my major error and once more I need to Restore from a BackUp. I again try to use the last BackUp (the one I used before)selecting the same last BackUp but it does not seem to work so well. So I step back to the second last BackUP and that works ok.
Q. When I use the latest BackUp does this only allow its use once and must I always step back to the next one on the list? Or am I doing something wrong(most likely)? Thanks Paul

thank you.It was set up correctly and mirrors the Backups held in Google. The point I did not make very well was can I keep repeatedly using the last BKup to Restore or do I have to step back every time to the BKup before?

Thanks for your quick response
The responsibility for any changes I make are mine, no one else.
My website is a service for retired Firefighters(like myself) and their Widows which I pay for so is not experimental,my readership statistics are very high.
CK is essential to my work because I am not an expert.
Can you suggest who I might write to in WordPress to express my point of view?
Secondly if no one is going to maintain CK which is very sad news can you suggest an alternative Editor with the same facilities as yours which I might switch over to please?

a temporary solution has been posted and I will attempt to modify my file…

“I have this same problem. I fix it temporairly by rename file in wp-admin/js/ editor.min.js’ to __editor.min.js”

Does this just mean I just prefix an underscore before the word ‘editor’. Is that it please?

Everything working just fine.
It seems that I may have lost my Slimstat data though it maybe that I am not setting this back up properly though I have followed the instructions to retrieve it.
WP Statistics does a better job in this respect in, give or take, resuming from where it was deleted.
I just use basic data and I know the difference between a ‘hit’ and a ‘visit'(or)but it seems to me that these robots especially from China even though supposedly blocked do distort/inflate the results so I go back to my server for a comparison of stats.Its the old story lies,damned lies, and government statistics
I also suspect that when I am working on the site even though my activities are not meant to be recorded there is some inflation/distortion there also.

I also manually installed WP Slimstat successfully after this.Not yet sure about retained data will have to setup the program to see if that data has gone.

Sorry no luck . Deactivated all the plugins.Removed WP Statistics and Slimstat. Neither will reload now? Any thoughts please?

Mr.Ross,thank you.If I remove and reinstall will I not lose all my statistics for the last year?That is my concern…
During the update process which I initiate I just get a spinner in the headboard and the operation never never completes with bluhost. It seems to lock up the whole site as well so I have to reboot…Thanks

4.4.5 is working perfectly ok!

A few points…

The left indent is described as ‘Smiley’? Is this correct?
Perhaps this should be with the other Indent controls?

Perhaps Bullets and numbers should automatically use the current text colour, font, and other parameters e.g., Bold etc…
