I’m begging for help here:

I added the class “The_editor” to my custom field and it worked.

Except for the fact that adding media will always add it to my last Editor field on the page.

Anyone know why or how I can change this?

I don’t mind making use of cpt and meta offered by wordpress I would just like to create my own post form. Pods looks awesome but just another level i wouldn’t mind avoiding for now.

that would be in your content loop. Depending on your theme this might also be in your archive.php or in the content loop it’s including. Look at the html and do a search in your theme.

Permissions on that folder? Mine is set to 755

How about deleting the cache folder? Will it give you a 404 or get the new page?

So I was able to do this

add_action(‘wp_print_footer_scripts’, ‘add_footer_js’, 10, 1);

But now my question is, how do I pass parameters to this function. The only was I can see is make them globals so they are available to my function?

oh and I need to make sure this gets outputted after my other footer scripts which are called enqueue.

Yes. You probably created a page for your home page right? If so that is not what you do for a blog homepage. Wp will create it automatically.

As for just displaying the excerpt, if my assumptions are correct, in your index.php it is getting the excerpt and not the full post.

Under settings>reading I believe what is selected for your blog homepage?
