    Robin,
I sent you a PM via your website with my URL and list of plugins, but the basic stuff is
PHP 7.0.29 simple twenty sixteen theme, and the problem persisted even with all plugins disabled.
I really appreciate the prompt attention!

Wow! Excellent, and many many thanks!

The “one item in a category” idea had occurred to me this morning as I made coffee. (I guess by the end of the day yesterday my brain was mostly mush)

I’m gonna give the custom code a shot, because it will make me feel special to have custom code from the author, but the fallback to a one-item category is a great solution as well.

Thanks again. This is a great plugin!

I’d love to have this ability as well. Something like:
    [wp_sitemap_page only=”category” slug=”cats”]

Right now I’m using Display Posts Shortcode to display all the posts in the category that I want on those pages, but I’d love to be able use ONE plugin to accomplish multiple tasks.

[No, I don’t have a cat blog, that was just an example!!!]

I’m just rolling out osTicket for my company portal, and since the custom forms and help topics are a key part of why we’re using a help desk kind of solution, it means that I can’t use your plugin just yet.

But I will say – I installed it, it’s lovely, works GREAT – if all we needed was the standard form and different departments, I’d totally be set. As it is, we’ll roll out with a WordPress portal and an osTicket helpdesk that looks totally different and hopefully in the not too distant future we’ll be able to use this excellent plugin and make everything WAY better.

    I’m looking forward to it!

Thank you @gerhard59 ! It never occurred to me to try Quick Edit.

I have found that the WP Missed Schedule plugin works, and that’s what I’m going with for now – but it’s SO tiresome to have to keep using plugins for things that should just be part of the software’s core functionality.

Same here – “missed schedule”. I also found it impossible to publish that post, had to just create a new one and copy and paste. Is there some way to convert a post from scheduled to “publish right now”? Especially since scheduling appears broken.
