In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Version 1.1.1 is releasedPlease open a support thread and do not clutter the announcement thread with a support issue (which is likely only a matter of saving the new options, per the directions).
Thanks

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] PHP errors in version 1.1.1This is an odd issue, as I’m fairly certain that portion of TCPDF hasn’t changed between the 6.0.34 build used in the previous stable version of the plugin and the 6.2.6 build used in 1.1.1.
The error indicates to me a failure to write to the plugin’s temporary directory. If you are able, please reinstall 1.1.1, deactivate it, and then activate it again (the normal upgrade procedure should do this, anyway, but just in case, it’s a good idea). Ensure that you have reviewed the settings and saved them (again). If you get the same error when generating a PDF, next try turning the logo off, and try generating a PDF from a page with an image on it. I’m trying to determine whether this is related to the logo png itself or to image creation in general.
A link to the site would be helpful, too.
Thanks, and sorry for the difficulty. Let’s see if we can fix this for you soon.

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Filter Title through 'the_title'Excellent point.
Pull wp-post-to-pdf-enhanced.php from svn. I’ve just pushed version 1.1.2b20150427 of the file with changeset 1147520.
Please test, and let me know. I’m working on some other things which aren’t quite ready to go, yet, but I don’t think I have anything in that build which should break functionality by just overlaying the 1.1.1 version with that one.
Thanks so much for the great suggestions. Geez, any more code snippets and I’ll have to add you as a contributor!! Then the trouble really starts. ??

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Update to 1.1.1 crashes DashboardHmmm… I’ve done no less than four upgrades on various sites I host and maintain, and none of these have behaved this way. Can you give me a list of other plugins installed (active or not)? I can then check these and see where the latest version is conflicting.
So sorry for the trouble, and thanks for reporting it!
Lewis
PS – You did the rollback about the same way I would have recommended. Nice work.
Please disable rendering the PDF option on that page. I can’t tell how powerful the server might be or how much memory might be required for such an operation (a gallery of four images might work fine, depending upon the size of the images, whereas a gallery of 4,000 images, even small, might bring the server to its knees).
This isn’t something I can likely “fix” for all cases. Resolving this as WONTFIX.

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Didn't appear on the websiteA support thread or direct contact as specified in the documentation would have been appreciated before posting a two star review.
Generally, issues like this are as a result of either a plugin interfering with the presentation of the icon or a theme which is somehow filtering that data. I’m happy to help resolve the issue, but I can’t fix what I don’t know is broken, sorry.

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Empty DocsA support thread for this would have been nice instead of a one star review, particularly when there are so many other four and five star reviews (so the plugin obviously works for a good number of people).
Generally, a blank PDF implies that another plugin is interfering with us getting the content. Thus, we generate what we see, which is a blank page. I’m happy to work with other plugin developers to fix these situations, and have done so in the past.
If you are still willing to give this a try, please install the latest version (I just pushed 1.1.0 today), and open a support thread if necessary, or contact me through my blog, as the documentation directs for official support. I’m happy to help.

In reply to: [WP Post to PDF Enhanced] Didn't work for meI’m sorry it didn’t work for you.
That said, does that really mean that the plugin is only worth one star? You could have waited to give a review until after requesting assistance in the support threads here or via the official support provided on my blog.
Please try version 1.1.0, which was just released today, and in the support threads, advise of any issues with your site. Typically, when the PDF is not getting generated, another plugin is intercepting the data before we get it. We just need to work with the other plugin developer to get some better cooperation or find a workaround.
