There are only a couple of breaks in the event calendar 3 code so it’s not hopeless. We’ve been kicking this around on the EC3 mailing list and while I haven’t seen confirmation from the developers, I have faith they’ll make the modifications.

Looks like some typos in the plugin. If you use a text editor and find the ‘wpau’ string and replace it with ‘bcm’, that should do the trick. There are 2 instances of it. Line 111 and 115 in better-comments-manager.php. Only affects version 1.4.

I’ll bet you’re running the WPAU plugin from Techie-Buzz as well. You don’t need it anymore so disable it.

Go to your admin panel on your WordPress.com blog and Manage->Export. Then you can import it into your new blog.

Your permalinks seem to be hosed up. Try Step 10.

It’s going to be tough to troubleshoot if you require logins to comment. Might want to turn that off until you get the problem solved.

If you are using the Safari beta, stripping line breaks is a known problem.

You need to install SMF in a separate folder outside of WordPress. I guess you know that now. Use your ftp program to delete the SMF directory and reinstall it.

SMF doesn’t really integrate with WordPress so I’m not sure what your goal is. Perhaps a link to your site might help.

1. Open the page template in your style.
2. Find <?php endwhile; endif; ?>
3. Insert this bit of code just before the code in step 2.
<?php if (comments_open()) comments_template(); ?>

Feedburner has the feature called BuzzBoost.
