Same problem wp 3.4.1 and j2wp migrator 1.7.1
tried this https://www.sondakikahaber.tv/solved-wp-contentpluginsjoomla-to-wordpress-migratorjoomla2wp-mig-php-on-line-1626/ and it starts working.
The problem comes with content.. it stops at special characters.
I have a utf8_general_ci collation in my joomla database and latin1_swedish_ci in the wp DB.
think I tried every possible option in the migrator settings.. and it stills breaks content in special characters .
