Your response is the one I would expect from a plugin publisher that is taking advantage of a loophole. Your plugin should be removed from the repository for spamming users. Perhaps you should write a plugin that did no spam users just for trying it out. Ironically the company I work for probably would have become a paying customer until you spammed us.

In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Use the countdown alone as shortcode? You would have to disable the redirect portion of the plugin that inserts the meta tag into the head of the page. Commenting out the meta tag would probably do it, but then it will not redirect on other pages. You can play with it. Good luck

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Deal Breaker. How do I turn it off?No there are better tools than WP without Gutenberg but WP has made it clear that discussing and linking to them on WP forums is not allowed. Especially if the other tools are forks of WP.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Deal Breaker. How do I turn it off?Wrong there are some very good alternatives to WordPress but if I mention them the post will be deleted and my account disabled.

In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Not redirectingWithout having the same theme and plugins you are using I am kind of stuck. If you switch the theme to one of the default WP ones (2017 for example) does the redirect work?
If you give me a list of the plugins you have installed I will test them, but I am limited in to only the plugins that are free.
Let me know.

In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Not redirectingI cannot test a lot of what you have installed since it is a bought theme but here is what I discovered. The plugin is adding the meta tag to do a redirect but for some reason the settings are not getting pulled from the shortcode. Can you tell me a few more things about your setup?
Web server: Apache or nginx?
PHP version?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Not redirectingHmm, that is interesting. Let me do a few tests and I’ll get back to you later today.

In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Not redirectingIs there a page I can look at? It is probably a theme conflict but I would need to see a page to confirm.

In reply to: [WP Exit Page Redirect] Exit pageWas away just saw your post. Yes you could use this for that but the page in between would need to be made for each affiliate link. That is actually a similar use to what I used it for originally. I had a client that needed a “You are leaving our site” notice. But we only had a few exit links so it was not hard to create the exit pages.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Access to settings is absentThis is most likely a theme problem. I have the same error, but if I switch to the theme to Twenty Fifteen I am able to access the settings page. Unfortunately I cannot keep the theme on Twenty Fifteen.
I am using the free Virtue theme from here: https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/themes/virtue/
The rest of the specs I have are the same for WP version etc.

In reply to: [Compress PNG for WP] Failed to ConnectFound the problem. Your IP address might have changed and for some reason our server was using the old one. Seems to work now.
Have made some progress on this. The error I was experiencing “A contact cannot be added without lists.” seemed to be caused if the person was not a contact in Constant Contact, however while that error seems to be gone editing the subscription on the profile page still does not work. Even when the person is a contact in Constant Contact that user in WordPress cannot modify their subscriptions. There are not errors happening though, in fact the Constant Contact log says the subscription was modified but checking Constant Contact or the user profile in question nothing changes. In short this does not seem to work.
If anyone has any ideas how to get this feature to work to allow users to edit their subscriptions on the profile page would love to hear some ideas.
Thanks

In reply to: [Constant Contact for WordPress] BBPress Compatibility?Just to update this, I was able to get the plugin to work with BBPress. Not sure what the initial problem was but seems to have resolved after updating BBPress, which was out of date.
