I would like to change to font size in my widget since it doesn’t show enough text in the sidebar to be meaningful. I might even like to change or eliminate the title text. Could you please post the details you mentioned? My site is dearchristiancounselor.com. Thank you.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type Editor] Delete Custom Post Type?Well, that worked to HIDE it from my admin menu. I got a message saying it wasn’t possible to delete it. So the post-type still exists, and there is a custom-post-type page which is found under dearchristiancounselor.com/blog which says there is nothing found. I’d really like that to go away. (It is not listed under my Pages in the Dashboard.)

In reply to: Comment-bubble – this should be quick – please help!If you see a gray comment bubble then my CSS is NOT working correctly. It should say “reply” in the center of the bubble. I have tried clearing my cache and refreshing my browser. That is not the problem, either, but thanks for responding.

In reply to: Add an image to custom post page headerOK. Good. That’s a start. When I added it to the bottom of my header.php file in my child theme, it added the correct image to EVERY page of my website. Now I just have to figure out how to get it added to JUST the one page.

In reply to: Add an image to custom post page headerIt’s a Twenty-Eleven child theme. I don’t want to change the header on every page, just the custom post blog page. Maybe I’ll try adding that image command to the header.php and see if that does anything – even if it DOES put it on all my pages. I’ll let you know.

In reply to: Add an image to custom post page headerI did try this, putting the line you suggested in a number of different php files, since I’m not sure which one controls the blog page. Using your technique, it appears that the Template name is Blog. So I changed blog.php and header-blog.php. When I inspect the page with Firebug, it looks like the format is coming from archive.php, so I tried changing that, too. Nothing I tried made any difference to the page appearance. Other thoughts?

In reply to: Help me remove Google adsIt was in the index.php file for my child theme. In fact, that was all that was in that particular file, so when I deleted it, the problem was solved. I also had ads in the sidebar widgets, but those were easier to find. Thanks.
