Hello, I have had those settings down to 0 and they don’t make a difference.

I just tried it again and it still runs off the page.

I am making some rather drastic changes so I was using a plugin that makes the website unviewable to anyone but me. I took it down so that you can have a look but I don’t want to leave it down too long – there is still so much more to be done. When I started to make these changes I pretty much stripped my site down to default settings and I noticed the logo issue – but truth be told it has always been there. It would be nice to figure out what the problem is before I start decorating the place with nice graphics. I made the header image the same as the main content background because of this really ugly gap I have been unable to get rid of when I use the original one. I really hope a solution can be found – even something simple I have overlooked!

Pinterest is unreachable on this and I am still unable to find where to remove it. ALL the topics on a google search tell me how to add not REMOVE this devil. It continues to be added to new posts without my permission.

One more question…is there any way to center the titles and links on the sidebar widget not on the homepage – without editing the files? Since the other pages don’t use modules would it be possible to use CSS on them?

By the way the full width homepage layout with buttons looks amazing – I am really glad now that moving the bar up wasn’t possible! If I could easily center the sidebar content my site will be absolutely perfect.

Thanks for your help. I wouldn’t know how to even begin to edit the files so I will have to figure something else out. Perhaps a full width template page would work on the homepage and then I could add some navigation buttons into the body of the page? This way the non-homepage sidebars will be the only ones.

I have it working now – additionally I needed to change Home Blog Settings to limit the posts to one category along with the actual Blog Template category setting.

But is there any way to change the appearance of how the blog entries appear on the homepage? I can’t seem to get rid of the three word excerpt before read me and it adds them to a grid of two across.

Also the pictures of the sub-category post entries only found through the sidebar only work using both head content and featured image to display the image and the hover glow effect and click to view larger screen that I cannot remove like I would if these images were in the editor. How do I go about changing how these images behave? They also do this when clicking on the posts and conflict with the images for those posts. I have already turned off hide image border in Misc and it does not change the hover glow effect.

I was unaware of the sidebar template because all of my pages before this have worked properly on the default template. I have no idea why this particular one requires a different template but I am happy to say that the problem appears FIXED! Once again I want to thank you for helping me.
