Therefore server does not provide admin access to the site wordpress. If you have to edit website please login to wordpress dashboard. In order to login to wordpress dashboard, please follow the steps given below:
1. domainname/wp-admin.
2. Enter user name and password.
then you can edit website.

False hope. I had moved hide-admin-bar-from-non-admins.php from plugins and that allowed me to see the Admin bar but I am still not allowed to access any admin features. The one I didn’t recognize or remember installer was Worker (ManageWP Worker)

I don’t think I have WP-CLI, this site does not have SSH

I think I got it solved. I went back into file manager and looked through plugins. I saw one I didn’t recognize and moved it to a new folder plugins.hold and Dashboard is back

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). tried this. renamed plugins and it recognized me as admin but dashboard only showed media and users, not plugins.

rename the directory of your currently active theme. tried this and go a white page no theme or content showing

WP-CLI installed (many do), this command will likely solve the problem: don’t understand this one

Find the option with a meta_key of “wp_user_roles”.the value looks the same

I tried your suggestion.It did not resolve the issue. I am listed as admin in the phpMyAdmin. after I had changed it this came in my mailbox – see at bottom—-

I setup a subdomain and installed a 1-mo. old backup, which allows me in, as admin. But, when I tried to set up a second admin the admin role was no where to be found, even in the user role editor.
