Hey @julian – I’ve just added a fix that will add the meta box to all publicly declared post types as well as posts and pages.

Does that solve your issue?

I’ve just tested this on a vanilla 4.2.2 WP site with Posts and Pages and it works fine.

On opening a page/post I could see the Visual and Text tabs.

When checking the Always Edit In HTML checkbox and saving the page/post the Visual tab disappeared.

When unchecking the Always Edit In HTML checkbox and saving the page/post the Visual tab reappeared.

Can you please disable all other plugins and switch theme to a Twenty<something> and test the plugin again.

Can you confirm that it is working in that state?

Would it be more helpful if I added a setting to allow you to check any CPTs found on the site to be used with the plugin?

@menathor it’s a real shame because I love the product but I can’t keep going round our 100-odd sites recreating config files each time XCloner updates.

Will probably move over to VaultPress.
