Sub pages are still not working correctly. They are positioned correctly, and show up in the right positions.

But they disappear when you try to click on them, so it’s impossible to access the sub pages.

Thanks. Before I start more experiments :)… Do you have a guide to instal the carousel, and what size images fit?

Also, what size image shows in the blog posts?

I spent a lot of time trying different sizes and proportions, and I found that 1500 px wide x 290 high works.

On screen it does not look wide enough, but I added it anyway, and when published it fits for the Firefox browser. In IE, the height is correct, but the width is stretched a little. After a lot of experiments, it’s close enough for now.

I attempted to keep it simple.

First time installed on one new site, as I said all completed correctly – therefore the email address was confirmed.

First backup. “Executed” – under Function

I have filled in everything correctly. It showed my email. I would like to know why it shows this message in the log details for the backup:

If you’re able to help, I’m now trying to upload a header in the recommended size – 1920 x 400, but it crops about 25% off.

I only edit directly. I have FileZilla, but I’m afraid I don’t know where to start with it. Sorry to be totally ignorant, but this is my first hosted site, and the host told me a dozen different stories.

I lost the site altogether twice since, so basically I have no security, and will change hosts.

I’ve now started again by deleting the sub page that changed to the static front page.

Thanks for the reminder – as I said, I’d assigned the front page 7 months ago, and now I can’t change the permalink that has somehow changed on the wrong sub page.

The original static front page is named home, which shows up as .com/home/ not just .com

The link was for malicious code. I don’t see how to reset the home page, which is what I need to do.
