Same issue for me.
https://itsdifferent4girls.com/sitemap.htmlAgree with @mbaydesign “Ultimately, better that the plugin author weighs in on this.”
Would like to know what the author thinks of @soundfeelings:
“I wonder if the html version of the page is just for user-viewing but not necessary for the functionality of the program because the sitemap.xml is the one that google actually needs to see? So maybe the easiest thing is to just UNCHECK the box: “Include sitemap in HTML format” in the settings panel?”
Did you try it?
What did you do after you unchecked the box? Delete the current sitemap, create a new one and submit it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Google PageSpeed IssuesI completely understand what you are saying.
On the other hand, I think it is critical because we are using the plug-in in the header of the site.
It would be wonderful if the “compress assets” could be taken care of in a future version of the plug-in.
Thank you for the scripts-to-footer recommendation!

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] How to move icons closer togetherFirst apologies – I didn’t think that posted, I kept checking and it was blank. It doesn’t make any sense as it posted. That list refers to the OTHER plug-in I tried.
Please find my replacement follow-up here:Thank you Nick!
The theme is Cobalt’s Dynamik Website Builder. This is a third party Genesis child theme.
I decided to put Nick’s plug-in back in after I discovered accesspress-social-icons was generating Google Page Speed issues that even included image size.
You’ll find the Google Page Speed issues list at this link: https://www.staging1.bertaart.com/gallery-test/
Unfortunately, Simple Social Icons is not without Google Page Speed issues. I listed those as well just for feedback on that page.
I also put a screenshot of the settings that I have for the Simple Social Icons plug-in.
It seems like the default for the spacing on the icons could be set so that we had the option to go tighter.
I would appreciate your taking a look.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] How to move icons closer togetherThank you very much Nick.
The theme I am using is Cobalt’s third party Genesis Child theme: Dynamik Website Builder. They have a page in their design settings where I can add custom CSS.
I have the plug-in ready to go. Just ping me and I’ll put it in the header for you.
You can see it on the secondary sidebar here:

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] How to move icons closer togetherI now have a different plug-in installed but would still appreciate the answer to my question. As a long time StudioPress Genesis dev license user I would like to use Studio Press when I can.
Here are the websites where it is installed with no issue:
https://debrafine.tv (WP Engine)
https://ohanamotorsrebels.com (Host Gator)AskLindaSherman.com is also on Host Gator.
All three have the same theme.
Another website that is still in dev mode on the same theme is working fine.A code fix would be welcome.
Thank you very much Barnez and sdayman.
I now see that I have the same theme (Dynamik Website Builder on Genesis Framework) with the Simple Share Buttons Adder on three websites but only one of them is failing. So it is very specific to that site.
Sample failing link:

In reply to: [Simple Share Buttons Adder] doesn't show descriptions on FacebookI am getting a
“Thank you for sharing!000000” (number varies) for the description on Facebook, LinkedIn and G+. I can work around it (except in a Facebook comment thread) by posting a photo and link separately (of course then it doesn’t hit counter when it is “shared). But I would really love to solve this. Have you?

Thank you Barnez.
I went to the “live traffic” page and it was already disabled.
I was glad I went there however, because on that page were specific IP’s that I could block.

In reply to: [Social Icons Widget] drag and drop change orderThank you Dan and Jeremy!
Another issue has come up, I’ll start a new thread for that.
It finally worked. I deleted the Genesis latest tweets widget.
