In reply to: [WP Critical CSS] Some settings that worked for me… QODE Bridge ThemeSo I bought Critical CSS, found it in “Settings”, activated it with the API key.
But what now? What I am supposed to activate or change in the settings?
How long will it take until I see a major perfomance improvement on Pagespeed Insights? My website: https://www.lindholmfoto.ch
Thanks for your help. Yes, it was a Google Remarketing plugin that caused the message. After disabling it, the message is gone.
However, I still have an enormous amount of AMP page errors. Most of them are “A value for the image field is required.”. As I mainly have a website – not a blog – so I don’t use any featured images.
Shall I just ignore these errors or what can I do?
Great. You just got a five star rating for this smooth support!
Thanks, now it works like a charm. I would suggest, you mention the menu creation step and how to set the front page in the “Installation” section of the plugin. These two steps a anything but self explanatory. Ticktet can be closed.
I found out how to create the specific AMP menu. This works find now.
However, I still wonder how to display other page content than blog posts.
Thanks for your fast reply, Scott.
There was no menu added by the plugin under Appearance -> Menus.
I now created a new menu called “AMP Menu” and added a few pages. Nothing happened on the AMP version of my website.
What’s also very ennoying is that the AMP version displays a lot of blog posts. This is not primarly a blog site but a website with pages. Any chance to customize so that a homepage is shown instead of useless blog posts?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Yoast Sitemap not updating with W3 Total CacheHi Kimberly,
Thanks for your very fast supply. Your suggestion seems to work fine. You saved my day!
It would saved me hours of work, had this been mentioned in the manual for W3 Total Cache. I think, it should even be filled in be default.
Best regards,
GoeranYes, I guess that’s right. I just wrote an e-mail to the webhoster support. Really looks like a problem with their server settings. Thanks for your input!
Hi Drew,
Yes, I am – just tested it again. In the meantime, I set up another WP installation incl. Aperture theme and Nextgen Gallery on a different test webhost. The upload works perfectly there. I guess the problem lies in the server setup of my current hosting provider. Can you tell what the problem could be by checking just https://www.lovestory.photo? My provider ist https://www.hoststar.ch/en/home/home.html
Thanks,
