In reply to: [WordPress IDX Real Estate Listings & MLS Search] Search by Specific AddressHello Paulynn,
It looks like you currently have dsIDXpress Lite which does not include a way for your visitors to search for homes by address.
You are able to BUILD dsIDXpress links based on the address as you can see in this link… intihomes.com/idx/?idx-q-AddressMasks<0>=725+Country+Wood+Lane&idx-q-ListingStatuses=15
But that will not help your visitors accomplish a search by address on their own. You are correct when you write that the closest way to search for a specific property outside of the address would be by the MLS #.
Within our dsIDXpress PRO product, though, your visitors would be able to search by address via the main search form: https://prntscr.com/5c45x6
In the “Location” box they are able to search by:
– Address
– Zip code
– City
– Community
– CountyAnd, of course, there are many other benefits with dsIDXpress Pro as well. If you are interested in learning more please let us know.
Our phone number is 949-544-2330, dial 3 for support
Based on what you’ve written it sounds like the URLs should be functioning properly. Can you either post your domain here (to a specific page that was created using IDX Pages) or give us a call so we can check this out further if you have not been able to resolve the issue?
Thank you!
Hello,
It sounds like you downloaded our sample data. In order to display specific listings from an MLS you would need to purchase a license through Diverse Solutions and go through an approval process with your MLS before being allowed to showcase listings.
If you are interested please call us at 949-544-2330, ext 1
Thank you!
With dsIDXpress we offer two search widgets that have drop downs of areas.
Quick Search – in this widget you are right… the drop downs can be extensive with the various options.
IDX Search – In THIS one, though, you (the agent or developer) are able to enter a very specific set of areas in a drop down. You could enter just a few areas or 100’s. This might work better for your needs.
We do not currently offer a widget that allows you to type in the areas of your choice within dsIDXpress, unfortunately. But that may be something we add down the road.
However, we do offer another product called dsSearchAgent (not a WordPress plugin) that does allow visitors to type in the specific areas of interest. It also auto-populates the area names / zip codes / addresses as you type.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns we can assist you with.
I’m not quite sure I am following but it sounds like you don’t want the preview of listing details showing below the map?
We do offer a map widget that can be found under WP >> Appearance >> Widgets that may help you accomplish what you are looking to do. The widget is called “Map Search”. Check that out and let us know if that helps you achieve what you are looking to do.

In reply to: [WordPress IDX Real Estate Listings & MLS Search] Australian option?Currently, dsIDXpress only supports MLS data in the US as well as a few Canadian MLSs. There’s always potential for that to change but we do not have any immediate plans to move into other countries at this time.

In reply to: [WordPress IDX Real Estate Listings & MLS Search] horizontal search widgetHello,
If you are using dsIDXpress PRO… this comes with a search widget titled, “Quick Search”. In this widget you are able to set it to either display…
– Horizontal
– Vertical (recommended for side bars)
– FlatFor your needs it sounds like the “flat” option would work best.
Hello,
Can you offer more specifics as to what you are trying to accomplish?
Hello Lovely,
I see that you already opened up a support ticket with us and were able to get this issue resolved. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Thank you!
Hello,
Have you purchased a dsIDXpress license from us yet? It sounds like you may have downloaded the plugin and have activated it using the Sample Data.
In order for the plugin to populate your own listings you do have to purchase a license, go through an approval process with your MLS, and then at that point you’ll be able to display your own listings, create pages with listings for various communities / subdivisions / zip codes / etc.
You’re also able to display listings using one of many widgets that comes with dsIDXpress.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

In reply to: [WordPress IDX Real Estate Listings & MLS Search] Quick Property SearchHello,
Are you trying to create a custom search form or simply trying to add one of the search widgets that comes with dsIDXpress?
If you are trying to create a custom search form you may want to give us a call to give us a bit more of the specifics.
But if you are simply trying to locate where to find widgets that come with the dsIDXpress plugin look in WP >> Appearance >> Widgets
In Widgets you will find a variety of dsIDXpress widgets. But the specific one to allow visitors to search for properties is called either “IDX Search” or “Quick Search”.
“Quick Search” is only available to dsIDXpress PRO users.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Hello,
Are you still experiencing any issues with the functionality here or have you been able to resolve this issue?
