There is possibly a conflict with another plugin. Try turn off all other plugins and try again. This plugin definitely works since thousands of people have it installed and working fine.

Thanks for these great suggestions, I will consider implementing it in future versions. The thing is I want to keep thing simple for the users instead of overload them with tons of options.

Yes, although it will take some effort. Using the <!–noadsense–> tag, you could make any post not to show adsense ads. So you’ll have to add <!–noadsense–> tag to all the posts that you do not want ads in. The plugin is really built for blogs that “want” to have ads in most of the posts.

Done! The new version 1.6 now have 3px of blank space between the ad and the content by default.

You could also use CSS in the custom code option to add more space if you want.

if images are already local, why use the plugin? ??

<!–adsensestart–> and <!–noadsense–> tags should go in your post content, not in the code of index.php. Then they should work.

I only tested this on a linux based remote server. It seems these errors are caused by using a windows based environment.

Make sure you click “save”

Sometimes, especially if you have a brand new adsense account and a low traffic site, you have to leave the code in the page for several days before it start to serve ads.

Hello, make sure you leave the “pub-” part out, your adsense account number should be numbers only.

I updated the plugin to version 1.2, it now has an option to choose text ad, image ad or both.

The current default for the ads is text and image, I will add an option in the future to choose text only or image only.
