Thank you so much for giving such a thorough reply. I only used plugs in from wordpress. This is my first attempt at making a website and have found it really difficult as without the email facility it would be difficult for prospective clients to contact me and it makes the site worthless.

This is a website i am trying to build for my new business – i am a nurse
The “ask a question” is merely the name i gave to the page
I am trying to set up my own website by following a you tube video
It is when i attempted to test ( email function) the plug in using Contact Form 7
it did not send the email to me which is my hotmail accopunt which i set up when downloading wordpress.
I asked the support team from hostgator and they said it was a problem with the domain not being accepted by hotmails filters….
i do not know how to fix this
When i changed my domain name server from godaddy to hostgator ( the domain name i wanted was not avilable on host gator)
This was an error on Leaf DNS
FAIL: MX Record IPs Have rDNS Records
None of your MX record IP addresses have corresponding reverse DNS entries (PTR records). If these MX records are used to send outgoing mail this will cause them to trip anti spam filters. Many SMTP servers will not accept mail from an IP with no reverse DNS.
It seems like i have to set up my IP address with reverse DNS……???
