For anyone interested it’s being fixed in the theme during the next update.

In reply to: [Plugin: Upload Widget] Can’t view widgetFor some reason this widget recognized my WP install as a WPMU one and thats why its directing to the folder BLOGUPLOADDIR. I changed the destination manually in the code.
Onto my real concern. How can I get this widget to show up for my friends. On my site all the people I trust have “Contributor” status or higher, but they cannot see the widget in the sidebar. Only me as Administrator. trizzou implied he had a solution but I′m a total newbie when it comes to actual coding. Thanks
