My theme template pulled the shortcode (do_shortcode) and that’s what was causing the error.

Looked to see if it was a conflict with another plugin, but was actually a conflict within a theme file, most likely related to theme updates and shortcode references with a theme template.

In reply to: [Gold Price] Prices zero since July 4thI switched the currency, and switched to grams. I deactivated all plugins, reactivated Gold Price, and switched to TwentyTwelve and had zeros.
Thank you Alessandro, I found the alo-easymail_custom-hooks.php file in the mu-plugins folder and commented out these two sections:

In reply to: [Expander] backslash added in front of apostropheDidn’t hear a thing back from the plugin developer. I’m posting this in case someone has the same problem.
My solution: I moved on to another plugin, Elegant Themes Shortcodes. My Customer was happy with the way the boxes looked, and I didn’t have a similar problem with the apostrophe.
