Update: I went through the workflow to send myself expiration notices and make a renewal. After renewing, confirming, refreshing, all of that, the old expiration date is still there. So it looks like the renewal accomplished nothing.
It would be helpful also to indicate to the users that the renewal will extend their ad x days. A renewal doesn’t have to be as long as the original post, but some indication would give them more confidence.
The expiration date not resetting is a problem, even if you don’t add the other stuff. Renewal doesn’t work right now. Working around it by having an absurdly long posting window of 30 days. Please help me address this.
