I am also unable to upload any images into my posts. The media buttons that were on top of the posting screen in the earlier versions of WordPress have completely disappeared.

There is a link for media in the left sidebar of the admin control panel, and from there, an option to upload a file. However, the pictures I tried uploading only go into the media library. I can’t get the images from the media library into my post.

So if anyone has suggestions, it would be very much appreciated.

Never mind, I fixed it.

I just reuploaded several wp-admin files, and now it works.

The url I was trying to link to is https://www.shieldofachilles.net.

I was trying to link to that url by clicking on blogroll, then add link.

There’s a plugin called Header Image Rotator. You upload it to your plugins directory. And then activate it, setting the rotation times. Then in your wp-content folder, you make a new folder called /header-images. This is where you will put all the images you want to use for your rotating headers. I use this plugin and like it.

Sorry, but I tried the php-send plugin and the comment notifier, as well as editing my pluggable.php file. Still nothing is working.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Actually, today I have started receiving comment notifications via email, so perhaps it did help.

I found that line of code in the pluggable.php file and removed that line of code, but still I’m not getting email notifications of new comments.

Is there anything else I can try?

What does comment out line 228 in pluggable.php mean. And when you open these php files, how do you tell what the line number is short of counting each move of your down arrow?

Thanks. I re-uploaded the wp-admin and wp-include files and it now works fine.

Actually, I found the Black Three Column Letterhead theme, and tweaked the style sheet appropriately. Now it looks just like my white letterhead theme but with 3 columns instead of two.
