Sorry to hijack this thread, but as you’re answering this one @fancythemes, could you let us know how we can prevent spam submissions for Optin Forms?

@brs – anything we can do to stop the 100s of spam submittals we’re getting via our Optin Form at the moment?

I’ve posted the question in the support threads, but really need to get this resolved as otherwise I’ll have to disable your plugin and find one that we can regulate as at the moment, it’s more trouble than help ??

Hey @mizerasteamway, did you manage to find a way of preventing those spam sign-ups via Optin Forms? Got the same issue here and seems the only option is going to be finding an alternative opt-in form instead ??

Any news on this? The volume of spam sign-ups is crazy at the moment and without a way of stopping them, I’ll have to stop using ‘opt-in forms’.

Not wishing to contradict @fancythemes, but we’ve previously added a name field to form design #2, following instructions (I think) we found on here.

If you’re still looking to do so, reply back and I’ll dig out a copy of the required steps.
