In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Adding custom headers to cached documentsUnderstood. Thanks for the clarification. Will get back to you on this.
For what it’s worth, it may be a bit tricky because we do not redirect the request to the cache root. The original path (post rewrites) is used to create the cache entry. Either way, I will get back to you when I have a solid answer.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Adding custom headers to cached documentsSo you will add the rule to the regular wordpress .htaccess, correct?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Adding custom headers to cached documentsCurrently, the cache does not handle the ETag Header. It will be added to LSWS Enterprise 5.1.8.
The cache location will not matter.
Thanks for bringing this issue up!

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Adding custom headers to cached documentsWe will look into setting custom headers. It should work.
To clarify, you are looking to add the ETag header to files that are served from the cache? Or are you looking to add the ETag header to files that are inserted into the cache?
To provide more information, when a page is cached, the headers are also cached (minus set-cookie), so the rules you need may differ depending on what you’re looking for.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed cache imagesHi longnha,
If the images are generated in PHP, we can cache them. Otherwise, there is no real incentive to cache images, as they are already static files.
The reason why caching improves performance so dramatically is because it creates static files out of dynamic pages, so it does not make sense to create a static file of a static file.
Hope this helps,

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Cache FeedsHi longnha,
We will configurations to cache feeds. It will be a single setting (Feed Time To Live) that will default to 0 (do not cache), but will enable caching Feed pages.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Cache FeedsHi longnha,
The current version does not support caching feeds. That said, we will look into it for the next version. I will reply again later to let you know the final decision.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Does not workHi There,
We’re sorry that the installation did not work “out of the box” for you.
Could you clarify on what isn’t working? Perhaps there is a simple explanation for why it did not work.

Could you elaborate on your site’s setup?
You mentioned caching everything except /forums. Is /forums another cms, or is it just bbPress?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] New update breaks Login with ajax widgetHi Mads,
Could you elaborate on how it breaks? Does it prevent you from logging in?
For now, in the LiteSpeed settings, if you disable the ‘Enable Cache for Login Page’ option, your issue should be resolved.
