YESSSSSSSSS turns out it was my Social Media Feather plugin – had to uncheck a “credit” box which displayed a little mini icon to the Social Media Feather facebook page (after the share icons on the post pages). for some reason that was putting the “by” on the homepage previews.

No I have not – so I should deactivate ALL of them at the same time and then check it out?

If it’s gone, will reactivating them all bring it back?

Still trying to figure this out – it’s driving me crazy! Tried searching for any instances of “by” or “author” in the php code and CSS and couldn’t find anything that would make a difference.

I’m trying to get an icon for my Feed. I see in the CSS there is a section for “feed” but when I add it to the Social Media Menu, the feed icon comes up as a star…how can I change that and make it the RSS symbol?

Updates:

I’m now working on a Child theme of Expound. Because apparently that’s what I’m supposed to do? LOL

When I go into the editor, there’s no code there. I’m still looking to make the above changes, but none of the changes are showing through. Even before, when I was working on the main theme, I kept changing the hexi codes and I couldn’t even get colors to change? Which should be a simple thing.

What am I missing here!?

So if you used a logo, would it have to be directly centered in that header space for it to look right on mobile?

Seems pretty silly to not have a header image resize for mobile.

What is that character in between the ” ” in content?

Tried adding that code but It’s not working. I’m so confused. Most of the code for the social menu starts with:
.navigation-main ul.social li

I tried removing all instances of “hover” and it didn’t work.

Found a couple spots that appeared with a 0.2 opacity, I changed them to 1, didn’t work.

I also want to add a hover to the main nav, but change the color of that to orange. I was able to get rid of the hover somehow but couldn’t figure out the colorization.

Same here. I don’t see it.

I’d like to change the color of the tags and remove the hover feature on them. Anyone know how I can do that?
