    ok, i fixed it via some support.

    permissiosn were off on a file

    whatever that means

    i haven’t tried any others…getting in a messing with the folders is very nerve wracking. i don’t want to mess anything up inside there.

    can you walk me through?

    Ok i’ve been messing with the % and seems to be fitting it in better.

    Now is there a good code to put in so my ‘posts’ text are wider?

    I sure wish i knew coding better!

    Thanks so much.

    I installed the simple custom CSS plugin. and i put

    .hfeed {
  width: 80%;
}

.aside {
  width: 17%;
}

    into it.

    it did resize them nicely. but it also changed the format of the whole page. the whole sidebar as seemed to shifted down.

    checked my phpmyadmin in the wp_posts and those files are missing from there as well.grrrr
