I don’t think any security plugins disable the feature. The only security one I use is WordFence Security.
No code has been added to the theme’s functions.php file.
As far as I know the host hasn’t disabled this feature but I’ll try and find out.

I’ll take another look at this. It may be an accessibility issue. I’m blind and use a screen reader and the menus don’t seem to be collapsed for me when I move over them with my screen reader’s review modes. I’ll mark this as resolved and repost in the accessibility forum if there’s still an issue.
