Additional Detail: in the first column of shaded details box, Event Category has a link but clicking just displays a blank screen, as if there is nothing in this category. Is this something to do with plural vs singular?

I used UpdraftPlus Premium for site migration. iThemes BackupBuddy also does an excellent job.

I just created another test site and backup/migrated to new site and the tabs came through as “global”, rather than defaulting to writable so SUCCESS!

I use Backupbuddy or Updraft Plus to migrate sites. The one other site where I used your Custom Tabs did not have any images or links within the tabs and all migrated just fine with Backup Buddy. Is that what you are saying can be lost?

I understand that you are asking me to migrate my development site to another development site to test and see whether the Custom Tabs migrate properly. Isn’t that part of your development process and you’d want to test this yourself?

Hi Kevin,
Your update did the trick! I don’t expect that I can change a saved tab IN a product and have it propagate to all other products using tab. I know that I have to go into Tab setting in dashboard to change a saved tab throughout all products using it.

The issue was that when I duplicated a product, the duplication resulted in the custom tabs being black (as if I had customized them) by default, instead of greyed out (as they are when I add a saved tab).

Is this only true of links inserted inside the tabs? I am developing a site and adding custom tabs for each product, I’d hate to think that migrating the site to the live space will result in a data loss.

I will have to try the new API solution. If I switch themes, every single one of my home page widgets will fall into inactive widgets and who knows what else will break and then have to be recreated.

I need this as well. Font size for title of Events is as large as widget title, way too big. I am using a Studiopress theme.

I cannot find the message from Modern Tribe but was told that with recent changes by Google, the big map is not showing and they can’t do anything about it, it’s a Google issue. I also have the API setup.

Hmmm, so I understand that this then is an issue due to Genesis and not up to you to solve. Perhaps I just don’t have the slideshow on a home page widget, then.

What is appears is that the widget expands to the width of the title/header text, rather than being a fixed width. This makes it too narrow and squashes the Testimonials widget.

I am having a similar problem, I used the code you recommended above, changing colors/font size/etc. For some odd reason the Firstname (subbox1) and Email (subbox) fields appear differently so I’ve had to micromanage them and code separately, surely that shouldn’t be necessary.
