LoL! It is indeed my browser. May be an extension issue? I did have the right code in place before. In my first post, that code was a direct copy-and-paste from my contact form tab panel. So it was there. I just sent the wrong screenshot. Thanks!

However I think I just figured out what’s wrong. Seems to be a Safari issue, because it’s working in Chrome; it won’t allow me to submit the form with fewer than 10 digits and it won’t let me type past 10. So I’ll see if there’s something amiss with my Safari browser. Thanks!

Oh, because I’m already using the following code which includes maxlength:10:

<p>Your Phone Number<br />
[tel* your-tel minlength:10 maxlength:10] </p>

Is there some code that I’m missing?

Hi again, thank you for the help, though I am still confused. I am already using the ‘maxlength’ option. I’m not looking for a countdown. I simply want the phone number field to require 10 digits – no more, no less. Currently, I have maxlength set to 10, but it will accept entries that are more than 10 digits long. Thank you.
