Henry, it doesn’t surprise me that this is a theme issue, and thanks so much for being willing and able to provide a fix. The code you provided completely fixes the issue. At first, with just the HTML, it put a blue border around the thermometer device; when the CSS code was added to the theme code, it completely removed the blue.
    Thanks so much!

OOPS! I did also change the currency to null. This is NOT the issue. When I centered the thermometer on the left it behaved the same and it’s got currency in dollars…

Sadly not ANSWERING this one because I have the same or similar question: in WooCommerce there’s an “Everywhere Else” shipping zone. I think wordjean and I have the same question and I’m a little nonplussed it’s been over a month with no answer…I want two shipping zones and to use the same table but with different rates. The first is US/Canada/Mexico, the second is literally everywhere else. How can I do this without selecting EVERY country (noticing that it won’t let me put that many countries into a zone)?

On further search, I discovered that a file in Apache needed to be changed and the services restarted, then the permalinks worked. The sole change needed was the removal of a hash commenting out the line “LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so” in httpd.conf; the other line in that file referred to deep in the codex.www.ads-software.com article on permalinks was actually correct, saying “AllowOverride all” rather than none.
I hope this saves someone ferreting this out for me, and in advance thanks for being willing to do so. Finding that piece of documentation was like finding a one-line needle in an Internet-sized haystack. Thanks for being there in any case.
