Thanks for your response James but I still can’t figure out how to fix this. I cleared my browser history / cookies, updated all plug ins and then deactivated them all to try to figure out what’s causing the problem but the error message remains. There was one plug-in, however, called Catablog that is unresponsive when I try to deactivate it. I know it’s not an issue with the theme. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance for any info.

Still having trouble. I’ve gone to Appearance –> widgets in wordpress and accessed the plugins widget on the sidebar. The only thing I see here that would seem to adjust size is a field called “text box size.” I’ve changed this from 20 to 1 but see no change in the width of the box that appears on my blog. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thank you for responding. I still can’t get it to work. This is what I did: In wordpress, I went to plugins and choose Edit for the WordPress Thumbnail Slider. On the page with the code, I pasted add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’); at the very bottom. Then I went to Appearance —> Widgets and added a text widget with the code [print_thumbnail_slider]. Did I put the code in the wrong place or place the wrong thing into the text widget? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. I am totally new to wordpress. Where do I find the trash section?

Does anyone know if there is a similar fix for Internet Explorer? We’ve been able to get the icons to work in Firefox but my site still shows blank icons in IE.
