Seems very unreliable when adding to group – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it only works when adding one plugin at a time, other times I can add a few plugins at a time. Also, after doing a successful add I need to clear browser cache and reload whole plugins page before I can add another one successfully.

But now the group is created I can’t add any plugins to it (using either Save Group or Add to Group options with that group selected and a plugin ticked).

Seems if there’s a space in the group title that the group creation silently fails.

I named group TestGroup (instead of Test Group) and it worked.

I was having same problem so did what was suggested above…

Save Group > — New Group — > Test Group

Then ticked several plugins on the main plugins list, then clicked Apply button… nothing happens. No group created.

Would it be worth having a new Plugin Groups screen under the Plugins menu, where I can create/rename/reorder groups? That would be much easier to understand than current UI.

I’m also having this problem – when user is in a group and views a doc in that group, suddenly they are taken out of the group and they’re like “hey, where did the group go? where am I?”.

The friends component was enabled while I was testing the FOAF plugin, and I’d set up random friendships between 3 test users.

I’m considering turning off the friendship feature, however, as I think the BuddyPress Follow plugin might be more appropriate for my audience (sort of veering more towards twitter-like feel than facebook).

I’m having this problem too – turned off “Friends” feature in BP and now the plugin crashes. It’s a bit scary that it’s getting counts of things regardless of whether they are needed or not = extra server load.
