In reply to: [Loco Translate] WordPress 6.7 is not using your language files – solutionThank you very much @learnee, it perfectly works.
While I know this is just a temporary solution (I’ve just left a copy of the files in the original folder) it helps while an official solution can be found. ??

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Problem with links windowIt’s not Taxopress. As I told you, every plugin that uses that space will cause the problem. So I think it’s the way WordPress behaves when there is an “additional line” and the insert point is at the end of the page.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Problem with links windowThanks for your quick answer Janmtm.
I’ve done some test, like activating the diagnostic mode of site help *and* deactivating all my plugins. I also reverted the theme back to TwentyTwenty four. But I don’t find a definitive answer.
The problem seems to arise when, at the end of an article edit page there is something. It could be any plugin (or theme itself) that adds an utility section below the text (in my case is Taxopress, but it’s valid with every other plugin).
In a “new website” condition there’s nothing after the end of the post, and enough blank space so the URLs window can appear without problems. If only a new section is there, the URL window just goes below (and there’s no way to scroll anything to make it slide). I also played a bit with z-index but no matter what value I type: it will stay in background.
I think a solution could be to force it to stay in foreground somehow. After all, when you open it, You need to use it, so it should have full priority. I also tested different browsers but nothing changed.
What I know for sure is that no plugins interfere with it (unless you consider culpits all that add a section below), so I don’t have any idea left (unless manually forcing the last paragraph to have an insane bottom margin*). For sure two or three subversions of WordPress ago, everything worked perfectly.
- * This is what I mean (and it will be my temporary solution to the problem):
Ok, thanks. So I can ignore these two warnings?

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] can’t force my WP website to updateThanks for your answer Anthon, but I think the WP package that comes with Synology NAS is locked at 6.1.1 for a reason, due to all the relative software required to run it (Apache, MariaDB, etc.).
I tried a 6.5.4 manual installation and, after that, nothing worked, so I’ve chosen an alternative solution (external hosting website).
Thanks anyway. ??

In reply to: [Modern Footnotes] Plugin incompatible with PHP 8.1I don’t think I have any age speed plugins. These are the ones I have (since a long time and, so far, they didn’t give me any troubles):
Some of them are disabled, because I don’t use them anymore and I’ll remove them soon.

In reply to: [Modern Footnotes] Plugin incompatible with PHP 8.1UPDATE:
No, after a while, the plugin stops working on PHP 8.x:
Switching back to PHP 7.4 it starts working again.
No track of Javascript errors in the console:
Any idea?

In reply to: [Modern Footnotes] Plugin incompatible with PHP 8.1Fair. I’ll do some testing. ??
Thanks.
Edit: You know what? I’ve set PHP to 8.1 and everything is perfectly working, even emptying the cache. In the meanwhile WP updated to 6.4.2, so I don’t know if it’s related, but now it’s all ok.
The only JS error I get is about the wp-admin-bar, that I think I’ve hidden in WP settings as I don’t need it (and maybe WP still tries to invoke it), but it doesn’t seem to block anything:
I think we can close this ticket. Many thanks for your help.
Have a nice day. ??

In reply to: [Modern Footnotes] Plugin incompatible with PHP 8.1Edit: it worked when you tried it because I had to go back to PHP 7.4 (like now).
P.S. Ah ah, please ignore the “good evenTing” in the test. ??
