Great, I hope it works to disconnect, it always works for me.

There is the option to disconnect in your WordPress dashboard, but to be able to disconnect from there, you need that internet connection, which is understandable, because it needs to be able to connect (over the internet) with the servers of Elementor for that.

Best procedure would have been to disconnect, before switching to XAMPP, so you would not have to worry about that later.

Hi,

if I understand you correctly, you only want to disconnect your website from your Elementor account.
Please log in to your account via: https://my.elementor.com/ with the email and password you created or received.

Once logged in, click left on websites and then click on the 3 bullets and choose “view related subscriptions”

Then click on the right side on the icon and chose “deactivate website”.

This way the website will no longer be connected and hopefully, you can edit without errors.

Keep in mind that you will need to download updates manually and add them manually too.
To get automated updates, you also need an internet connection.

Thanks for elaborating!

In Elementor there is the option of “history” that lets you go back to previous work, see:
https://elementor.com/help/revision-history-undo-and-redo/

When you update in Elementor editing screen, your work will be saved.
You can then go to “exit” from within Elementor editing screen.
After that, you will get the normal WordPress screen, where you can save as a draft.

Hmmm, not sure.

Did you only save it in the “edit with Elementor” or did you return to the default page and saved it as a draft in “the WordPress way”?

If you actually saved the draft, you should see it on the “all pages” list. Above, you should see “drafts” to go to all the drafts. See my screenshot: https://app.screencast.com/PB5sNzdMmIwah

If you do not see it, I assume you did not actually save the draft or something went wrong while saving.
Have you looked in trash, just in case it ended up in there?

TIP:
Always take a full backup after doing some work, so you can revert if needed.

If you just want the homepage to have the sidebar back, please go into the edit mode of the homepage, scroll down to “OceanWP settings” and set the “layout” to right sidebar.

As far I know, I responded and provided the login. However, seems I must have deleted or displaced that e-mail, I can not find it in my emails anymore.

Newsletter opt-in is enabled, but since the last time I moved them to the unsubscrided list, only 6 news ones were added, so that can not be it.

No automations active, except All in one migrations plugins, automated backups to Dropbox
Snippets are for a sidebar in the theme, and one to autocomplete orders.

Yes, the unconfirmed are in the list of the free course and some of them Woocommerce list.

However, when I select them and select “unsubscribe” (that tells me that it will unsubscribe them from ALL lists) at first they are in added to that “unsubsribed” list, but after an hour or so, they are again added to the “unconfirmed” AND again counted in my license plan.

Only when I delete those from being WordPress users or Woocommerce customers, then they do not come back, but just because I do not want them as Mailpoets subscribers, should not mean I need to delete them from their course etc.

I have already done all that, and yet, all the non subscribers, still are added back to my list of subscribers after a few hours. I was asked to add the log, which I did, but no one responded to that.

Can I get help please, I provided the information as required.

PS. Also I keep getting mails that I exceeded my subscriber limit and yet I only have 454 subcribers (actually only 54) but the unconfirmed ones keep getting added after I remove them.
