I would recommend contacting your host and have them check that the server time is correct. It sounds as though the server time may be off by a year.
I would suggest trying to disable all plug-ins:

In reply to: Auto-save bad returnSorry I never replied to this. It turns out that we added a new server and the server time was different than all the other ones. This caused the user to get logged out at random.

In reply to: 2.9.2 Security FixWe use a lot of plug-ins so I do not want to upgrade everything without checking it first. Didn’t the plug-in system get an overhaul in 3.x?
