In reply to: Widget or Plugin for auto-adding date and time to postI would like to have the date and time automatically put on the top of each post so it would be visible to the users. I’ve read some Google links to articles that said it would be a php thing and I have never used that program and don’t want to mess up everything trying.
Could one of you write a plugin or widget to do that for me?Here’s the link to my site: https://lonphillips.info/.

In reply to: Same person, new problem! The last two times, when I had a reply, when I hit Post, the different things it does at the bottom left of the screen before it puts my reply as the next thing in line didn’t happen. The stuff in the box disappeared, but it didn’t show up at the bottom of the entries….I dunno WHAT happens!
I put the exact words Below the Header in that space and when I hit enter, it showed up in that box at the top. I then went down to the bottom of the list of menu items and hit enter there too, and then reloaded the site, but the items are still in the same position as before. Is ANYTHING I say making sense???

In reply to: Same person, new problem!Changed it to Below the Header, those exact words, but the menu items aren’t rearranged the way they show in dashboard. I saved both places, right below Below the Header and at the end of the menu items, but they aren’t rearranged at the site. BUMMER!

In reply to: Same person, new problem! Is the current position below the header? Below My Cave? Or what header do they mean?

In reply to: Same person, new problem! So, I have to put in either Above the Header or Below the Header for the theme position? I don’t understand what is meant by above or below the header? Is the current location of the menu items below the header? is that what they mean?

In reply to: Same person, new problem!Andrew, I’m disabled AND poor, so I can’t afford to have someone to it for me! Before my stroke, I used to be a fair programmer, but now I did wordpress because I wouldn’t have to do a lot of work setting it up.

In reply to: Same person, new problem!I changed the menu name to Home, since that’s the first item. Is that what you mean by position? The items are still in the same order.

In reply to: Same person, new problem!James, I don’t understand what you mean. Keep in mind, I’m not a programmer, so you’ll need to be specific about what exactly that menu is supposed to be. What specific word or words needs to go there?
On that post, the only one that said continue reading was the only one that said not found, so I figured it must be the length…how do I fix it?

In reply to: Same person, new problem! How do I fix the menu problem? I got it as one of my post categories, but should I put it as one of the pages instead?
I moved the problem post to a page because pages seem to have a longer length limit.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Same person, new problem!I thought Media 7 said it wasn’t because support was only for www.ads-software.com themes
