I am not. just a user. i tired the steps you specified – without getting the same issue. the vendor in the anonymous browser could not edit other products which do not belong to him.

So – please specify a detailed step-by-step, maybe with some screenshots – on how to reproduce this issue.

these are not solutions. these are “lets delete all entries” till it will happen again…

We must go deeper. why a cleaning cron is activated so often? even after deleting all – they still repeating again and again.

to delete 1000 pending or failed – is not a solution. Let’s start with where this code is being called? how often it was supposed to be? is it hard-coded or there is some settings to it?

Temporary removed the cleanup of WCFM,

but need a fix for that… as YOU recommended to have this clean ON – to prevent the DB from exploding…

There is a solution for that. if you want i can help you.
It involve a custom widget that will pull a redirect link of the vendor and will JS redirect to your own custom page.
work around that works fine and gives full flexability without changing anything on WCFM.

for some reason the users did not had “publish_posts” capabilities…

It look like a bug in WC in
wc_rest_check_post_permissions
or in the inner function:
current_user_can

on $context = ‘create’ call – this function return FALSE.
(tested with no other plugins installed. so no-one is registered to woocommerce_rest_check_permissions filter)

This is a major bug. Can someone look into it?

Hi @sevans917 , version 1.3 is using minimum necessary random chars. instead of 10 in previous versions. hope it is answer your needs.
Also, about the uppercase – it is not safe to try to use it, as the default of woo is lowercase. see this issue.

it is internal used plugin. but it uses wp_authenticate call.
This call is effected by the firewall. so your plugin blocks these calls as they were frontend login tries
