You should receive a WordPress generated email with login credentials. Please let me know if you don’t receive them.
I’ve backed up everything.
Please let me know when you’ve completed your investigation so I can lockdown the site again. Thanks for all your help! I really appreciate it. I’ll be sure to write you guys a nice review.
Hi,
I tried deactivating all plugins except Ultimate Appointment Scheduling. Still doesn’t work; no success message and no appointment displayed in the Appointments tab of the Admin area.
I tried changing themes to Twenty Seventeen. Same result.
Lastly, I tried deactivating all plugins except Ultimate Appointment Scheduling with theme Twenty Seventeen. Same result.
Returned everything back to the way I had it.
Any other ideas. As I’ve mentioned several times before, I can set up temporary login credentials if you want.
Hi,
I would do that. I actually tried before. But there is not a timezone setting in WP Settings labeled (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada).
There is UTC-8, which does not take into account daylight saving time. There is Los Angeles. And there may be other cities under Americas that are also in the UTC-8 time zone (GMT-8). But there absolutely is not (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada).
I already tried UTC-8 and Los Angeles matched with (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) and it didn’t work. I tried again this evening, and it doesn’t work.
I have a draft page with the calendar version of the appointment scheduler, but it doesn’t work either. In fact, when I try using it, the location and service provider are not populated in the popup (I only have one location and one service provider). Only the service is populated, which is the same as the one I selected in the service section of the form at the top of the page. And there is a picklist to select the time, which works. But after selecting a time and clicking the book appointment button, there is no success message, the appointment is not entered into the calendar and it does not appear in the Appointments tab in the Admin area.
Would you like admin access? I can set up temporary credentials for you.
Just so you know (and not to brag), I test software at my day job. I’ve been a software tester for more than 15 years. So anything I can do to help you squash this bug (or any other bugs), I’m willing to help out. As I said before, I really like what this plugin offers and the future potential it has as well. It’s almost perfect for my photography business needs.
Hi,
Thank you for the assistance. I checked my timezone settings. I had selected Pacific in the plugin settings and Los Angeles in WP settings, which should be a timezone match.
I live in Las Vegas, which is in the Pacific timezone. We are still on daylight saving time until early November.
I’ve tried a variety of other timzone combinations trying to find a match (such as Phoenix and Arizona, UTC-8 and Pacific, and more).
Since I use a custom date format in my WP settings, I changed my date format to match what is displayed in the Appointments section of the form. I also tried matching the WP date to the North American date format in the plugin settings.
Unfortunately, none of that worked. I’m still not seeing the success message or the appointment in the Appointments tab.
My WP time settings are 24-hour clock, which appear to be the same as the plugin.
In the plugin settings I am not requiring log in to book a shoot or post a review. I’m also not requiring a CAPTCHA to book a shoot or post a review.
I’ve reset the timezone and date settings to what they were before I started testing.
As previously mentioned, I can set up temporary admin log in credentials for you if you’d like to take a look at my backend.
I really hope we can get this working. It’s got almost every feature I need (would love Google Calendar integration, ability to add form fields to the booking form, and user friendly dates and times in the emails) for my photography business without having to pay extra for them.

PS
I’d really like to get this working. Your appointment booking plugin has almost everything I want to book appointments (Google Calendar integration would be great), and I really like it despite some early difficulties setting it up (mostly my fault, but some additional documentation would have helped). The one I’m using now requires a monthly subscription for the plugin and a bunch of stuff I don’t want or need to be able to add more than two services.
I am having the same issue.
I am using the dropdown shortcode.
There is no success message displayed after filling out the form, selecting a service, date and time.
Adding an appointment in the Admin section does create the appointment.
I tried with US and EU date formats. Same result.
In addition, when I create an appointment in the Admin section, the email address is displayed in the phone number column.
Unfortunately, I cannot give you a link to the page because it is not live. I can’t put something live on my site that doesn’t work properly.
I would like to see this feature as well. Or I should say, the ability exclude the button from displaying on certain post categories.
For example, I have a category, Patreon. These are my content posts for my Patreon subscribers (which are connected to my Patreon account using the Patreon Connect plugin). Since the people viewing these posts are already Patreon subscribers and are logged in, I’d prefer that the button not be displayed on posts using the Patreon category.
In addition, I’d like to be able have the button displayed if the user is a patron (with Patreon Connect, different content is displayed if the viewer is not a patron). I realize you might not be able to build in this functionality, but if there was a shortcode available, I could insert the short code to the non-patron content area and it would be displayed if the viewer is not a patron or not logged in.
Thanks!
