OK, these are my current settings, I think this is what you wanted. But I’m not sure if I’m still meant to exclude those LayerSlider JS scripts or not?
They were absent from the form today. browser cache? or not persisted in the database? I don’t know?!? But let me know and I will quickly change them to the way you want:I tried deleting LayerSlider from the homepage to see if it effected performance. Strangely the site was slower with LayerSlider removed.
#1 LayerSlider with the new JS options:
#2 LayerSlider deleted from the site:
#3 Layerslider reinstated:
Is LayerSlider a false positive? And the problem actually lies elsewhere???
Thanks.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] No ImagesI’m not sure if I’ve done this correctly. LayerSlider seems to have three JS scripts:
,wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/assets/static/layerslider/js/layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js
,wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/assets/static/layerslider/js/layerslider.transitions.js
,wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/assets/static/layerslider/js/layerslider.utils.jsI added them to your “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” option
See Here:
The upshot is with this option enables LayerSlider doesn’t load its images.
Thanks.

Thanks again, its appreciated.
OK that seems to be a partial solution.
You correctly anticipated that my theme “Avada” was lazy loading images. I’ve turned this option off.
I say a partial solution because although Avada Lazy Loading is OFF if I turn your Aggregate option to ON, all the images on the site load except for the images inside LayerSlider.
Layerslider has some Lazy Load Options. All of them seem to be turned off, Do you happen to know if your plugin is able to optimise LayerSlider?
I dont see any obvious options within LayerSlider to turn ON/OFF.
If LayerSlider is the issue then I am happy to drop it and use another Slider instead as I value your plugin more.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] No ImagesHi Frank,
Thanks for replying.
I reactivated your plugin, and turned all options off except ‘Optimize JavaScript Code‘ This still causes the images to not load.
There is a sub-option “Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking?” If I toggle this option ON/OFF then the images Don’t Load/ Do Load accordingly.
OK so if “Optimize JavaScript Code” is ON and “Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking? is OFF then the images load successfully, but the problem is the site’s performance drops down to 29 according to https://pagespeed.web.dev/
Thanks.
@amimulihsanmahdi thank you for replying.
I did consider experimenting with the 6 different types of keys, but.
- I don’t have the time.
- I don’t want to make a mistake.
- I’d prefer an expert answer.
It would be prudent to update the tutorial to prevent other people from opening identical support threads to this one and wasting everyone’s time.
Thank you for your help, it’s appreciated.
Kindest Regards.
Hi Rogier
That fixed the issue.
Thank you very much.
I think this thread is dead, I will open a new one.
Any update on this issue?
All options within a plugin should be accessible & configurable via the user interface.
There should be an option on this page of a install to switch it on/off:https:// <insert-domain-name> /wp-admin/admin.php?page=WFLS#top#settings
Thanks
Hey,
I have the same issue. Did anyone discover a solution?
Kind Regards

I no longer get emails from www.ads-software.com when someone posts on one of my forum threads. Should I open a new thread for that issue???@cptdaydreamer
Sorry, I never fixed this problem. I still get the same and/or similar error messages sporadically across my different WordPress installations, despite them all being on the same physical web server. There seems to be no discernable pattern to the problem, not that I can determine anyway!Even today I got these error messages:
Click here to see screenshot 1 on SnipBoard.ioLoopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.
The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)Click here to see screenshot 2 on SnipBoard.io
The scheduled event, action_scheduler_run_queue, is late to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.
I stumbled upon this great article:
https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/wordpress-site-health-curl-error-28.htmlTL;DR
Basically he says not to worry about it.Cheers
@wfadam Thanks for replying.
Sorry for my slow reply. I never got notified of follow-up replied from www.ads-software.com!?!
Anyway, this seems to have cleared itself up as the latest WordFence scans of all my sites are no longer reporting TwentyTwentyOne as being an issue anymore.
So thanks very much or your help.
Thanks for replying and thanks for your help.
OK, I will code my own solution.
Kind Regards.

In reply to: Site Health – cURL issuesThanks @jdembowski
I was obfuscating the URL with Bitly as there was no option to retrospectively add the site’s URL.
A feature request for the forum.

In reply to: Site Health – cURL issuesBTW
I just checked the site-health page again and I got this cURL error:
Text Here:

Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended. So something else is at play here.
