Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
So I updated your plugin to version 1.14 and the hp prefix has gone from the span id.

I really like your plugin, I use it on a load of websites. So I’m pleased and relieved that your going to continue to support it. I appreciate that it’s just being flagged because its been a while since its last update.
The reason I like this plugin so much is as you probably already know, roughly 50% of all hacks attempts are aimed at the XML-RPC.
It’s pity the ability to turn XML-RPC on/off isn’t a standard “out of the box” WordPress setting. Settings > Writing would be a good place to put it or maybe even a Jetpack feature. I wish Automattic would address this issue. But hey what do we know?

I can’t explain why but everything seems to be working today?!?
Yesterday’s screenshot is the only proof I have that something was actually wrong.BTW yesterday I also got an error message of “-10520”

I suspect what’s happened is I deleted a website before disconnecting the site from Jetpack, so there is some remnant of a connection remaining in my WordPress.com account/dashboard.
The sites are not listed, just the number of sites is incorrect. Therefore I’m unable to manually disconnect them using the instructions you sent.

I tried to disconnect but nothing happened, it just hung.
So I deactivated and activated Jetpack, then connected to WordPress.com, but the same thing is happening, I get a 400 error code whenever I change any Jetpack setting.
