In reply to: [Disable Cart Fragments by Optimocha] issue with dropdown box when cart emptyHello,
Below is the reply I received from the theme developer, Brainstorm Force, when I notified them of your reply. Please advise, thanks.
“I would like to confirm that the conflict you are experiencing is due to the Disable Cart Fragments plugin. In this case, it is appropriate to reach out to the plugin developers responsible for resolving this issue.
It is important to note that third-party plugins often collaborate closely to ensure compatibility and address any conflicts that may arise. As such, the responsibility lies with the plugin developers to address and fix this particular issue.”

In reply to: [Code Snippets] all snippet code is missing!Update 2: after deactivating and testing other plugins, I tried updating WordPress to 6.1.1 and it seems to have solved this problem for now. I’ll return to this post if that turns out not to be the case, thanks.

In reply to: [Code Snippets] all snippet code is missing!Update: I just tried to add a new test snippet (to both production and cloned sites), but I can’t add anything to the code box, it doesn’t even let me put a cursor there to paste the code, etc. Please advise on this also, thanks!

In reply to: [New User Approve] approval emails not arrivingHello again,
If there is no solution for this deliverability issue, is there a way to just completely suppress the “Approved” email from being sent to users, and I can send a custom email after approval instead? It’s too risky/confusing to click Approve and then have no idea if the user is receiving the email or not. Thank you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [New User Approve] approval emails not arrivingfyi, at the suggestion of someone in the SMTP forum, I deactivated FluentSMTP and installed WP Mail SMTP plugin. I got the same results – all emails are delivered normally except for the “Approved” email, which is sent but not delivered. I don’t know what else to check, but I can’t move forward with purchasing either MemberPress or New User Approve until I can get this process to work correctly. Thanks for any other help you may be able to provide.

In reply to: [New User Approve] approval emails not arrivingHello, I replied to this yesterday by email but it’s not appearing here. I responded to let you know that I’m using Fluent SMTP plugin. Are you aware of any conflicts? Thanks.

In reply to: [New User Approve] approval emails not arrivingHello, thanks for the reply. There’s no way to easily screencast the situation. When I approve the order, the user never receives the Approval email. As I mentioned, I can see in the SMTP email log that the email was sent. Resending the email from that log does then deliver the email successfully, but that’s not a manageable solution.
All other email functions on the site send/receive properly.
Is there something specific you’d like me to check for you to provide more information?
Thank you.
Thank you! I’ve finally figured it out after hours and hours of frustration, thanks to your suggestion to check on other conflicts.
It turns out the culprit was a basic code snippet we installed when we first set up the site to override the default “from” address for WordPress emails. Apparently this was overriding the SMTP plugin sender settings – once I deactivated the snippet, everything worked smoothly. I wanted to include what I found here in case someone else runs into this same situation.
Thanks again for the help!
Hello and thanks for the reply. I am using the Elastic Email SMTP settings with the “Other SMTP” Mailer option.
SMTP Host: smtp.elasticemail.com
Encryption: TLS
SMTP Port: 2525
Authentication: on
SMTP username and pw: both are entered.Emails are being sent, they just have the incorrect “From”.
I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. Since I don’t have the “Force From Email” checked, shouldn’t emails be sent from the one entered in the WP Mail SMTP settings? (Except for WooCommerce, which has it’s own “from” setup.) Is there something I’m missing?
I don’t have any other plugins that use email settings. Only WooCommerce. Could there be a conflict here?
Regarding your suggestion for using Gmail Mailer, from what I have read this would not be the best choice if you have more than 2,000 email contacts, correct? So that would not work for us.
If you can think of anything else that I could check on that would allow emails to send using the plugin settings without using Force From Email, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
I forgot to mention that if I use the “force from” settings that it will send from “B”, but I can’t do that because I have a different “from” that I need to use for WooCommerce emails. thanks.

In reply to: [PowerPack for LearnDash] question on group unenrollThanks for checking back. I ended up not using the plugin because of the “Details” link issue. Hopefully it’s fixed by now, so I’ll add it back to my list of things to explore when I have time, thanks.

In reply to: [PowerPack for LearnDash] question on group unenrollUpdate: The group unenroll worked perfectly, so that’s great and solves the problem of my having to manually remove group users each month, thank you!
I see on the Changelog that you’ve fixed the missing Details link on the user profile. I doublechecked that I have the latest version installed, but I still don’t have the Details link. Is there something else that I should check that may still be conflicting and causing this error?
Thanks!
