Hi bdbrown.
Thanks for your quick response….and sorry for my delay. ??
I have a dev testing site. I’ll need to turn off the maintenance mode.At the bottom of the home page content area, you can see the (styled) comments box. The pagination appears below it. I would like for the pagination to appear on top of this area, right below the posts. Basically I want the added sidebar to appear at the very bottom of the content area.
FYI: Tried moving the code you provided around…but it didn’t work for me. I know I am doing something wrong…but my knowledge in this area isn’t advanced… and I am just not seeing where I made the error.
Thanks in advance.:)

In reply to: [Hueman] Hueman Child Theme Not Showing Sidebars When ActivatedHi bd,
Yep, Thanks for all your helpful posts in the forum.
I am new to child themes (only used custom CSS and wasn’t aware of this, but am now.Just wanted any child theme newbies to know that if they activate the child theme AFTER they have added content and widgets, they will likely need to reset them to see the sidebar content.
marking this as resolved ??
You can make those type of edits manually, but not via the Theme Options window, which has limits.
First, you’ll need to turn off your Dynamic Styles in the Styles tab of the Theme Options panel (Dynamic Styles override all others).
This means you can’t use any of the Dynamic Styles in the Theme Options panel.
Instead, you’ll be using either a Child Theme or a Custom CSS plugin to edit the CSS.
Here’s the link to the Custom CSS plugin.
Here’s a link to a post by bdbrown detailing the Child Theme setup.
And here’s a link to many of the CSS Colors you can edit in the CSS/Child Theme posted by the theme’s author.
To find the CSS color or background you wish to edit, you can use Firefox’s Inspector tool to locate the name of the item/style.
Header
Editing the CSS below will change the entire header background.
#header { background: #33363b; position: relative; padding-bottom: 60px; }
Footer
Editing the footer, not sure which footer element you want to edit, but this would edit the bottom bar which is dark grey in the demo.
#footer-bottom { background: #33363b; }
Using the Inspector Tool feature in Firefox should help you.

In reply to: [Hueman] Hueman Child Theme Not Showing Sidebars When ActivatedI just wanted to add…it appears that when you activate the Hueman and add widgets, then activate the Hueman child theme…all the widgets you set in the Hueman theme are wiped out.
I’m not sure if this is true for other themes across the board, but it looks like this is what’s happening in this scenario.
Just thought I’d throw that out there for those new to both themes.
Thanks, will do.
I just found another NGG extension that works with the existing WP Media Library…for anyone interested. Dovetails with the need for a category and tag based image gallery.

??
I am looking for a similar feature…I think it would be at the top of many user’s wishlists.
That being…
The ability to create/call-up/assign a gallery from either an image category or an image tag. (Instead of manually placing images in a gallery). Be nice if you could point to the entire WP media library or an individual image folder within it.I’m brand new to NGG, so maybe this is possible??? If not, including this feature would make it like gold for me.
??
You can ignore this request…
I found the BWP comments shortcode.
[bwp-rc]I must have overlooked it the panel or documentation…found it in another support post.
Works great! Thanks for the plugin.
