In reply to: [Kyma] Empty space at the top of each pageSorry, me again.
Not sure how to even explain this… but I’ll have a go.
So on most pages, such as https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-holiday-destinations-family-breaks/ https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-places-to-go-on-holiday-with-kids/ and https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/category/latest-family-holiday-deals/ I don’t want a title to display, as it pushes the content down the page and isnt necciasry as I can use h4 tags etc to create a clear description of what the page is about.
However, when you go to https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-places-to-go-on-holiday-with-kids/ and then click on for example the Cyprus(2) title, or any of the other countries there, the link takes you to a page which gives no title or indication of the listings on that page being about Cyprus properties.
I do have the category description filled in on the classified category page which is run by WP Adverts, and it does say on that page;
The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it.
What’s the best thing to do to either get the description to show up or just the titles on these category pages of the wp adverts pages?
Thanks
Sally

In reply to: [Kyma] Empty space at the top of each pageHi
I’m thinking of removing the title from every page, as it pushes the content down the page too much. So for instance https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-holiday-destinations-family-breaks/ Best Holiday Destinations For Family Breaks | Uk & Abroad would be missing, https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/category/latest-family-holiday-deals/ Category Archives: Latest Family Holiday Deals would be missing and so on.
Would this affect SEO ranking in any way, or not a problem? If it doesnt cause SEO problems, how would I do this safely please?
Thanks
Sally

In reply to: [Kyma] Empty space at the top of each pageOne more question…
I noticed when I removed all content from the breadcrumbs.php, it removed the title completely. Is there a way to remove the title completely from just this one page, but leave the title in all other pages? (Don’t worry about the banner part)
I’m guessing removing the title from all pages would be bad for SEO?
Thanks

In reply to: [Kyma] £'s don't work anymoreOh I see, you mean my pc’s cache. Yep tried that before, just tried again and still no joy. I asked my host and he said it must be an ‘encoding’ issue? Honestly I can’t get it to work, I can send you my log in details if you want to see whether you can see something I can’t?
Thanks

In reply to: [Kyma] Empty space at the top of each pageThank you, think I understand that, managed to do it, but it’s the same image on every page. Is there any way of making each pages image different at all?
Thanks

In reply to: [Kyma] £'s don't work anymoreHi
Do you mean click the ‘reinstall now’ button on the wordpress updates dashboard? Is this safe to do?
Where do I find the clear cache option please? I can’t find it anywhere.
This seems to be a site wide issue, it’s happening with posts, pages, classifieds listings too and also ? marks appearing in random places of the page when I try to add a £
I’ve tried deactivating plugins, nothing helps.
Thanks

In reply to: [Kyma] £'s don't work anymoreHi
This definitely isnt working at my end, no matter what I try.
I noticed it also added a ‘o’ to the url before the 76, so I’ve just changed that and now the url is https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/76-off-suncamp-holidays-accommodation-voucher-codes/ and still I cannot get the £ signs to work. I tried the solution you recommended several times. Here is a brand new post for testing, which has also removed the £ signs and once again the £ in the title has been replaced with a o, whilst the £ sign in the content has just disappeared completely. https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/test-post-o-signs/
Please can you help?
Thanks
Sally

In reply to: I can't get my page content to sit correctlyHi Andrew,
It’s better, but I’d really like the form to line up with the banner. I’ll take a look at the grid, thanks for your help!

In reply to: I can't get my page content to sit correctlyHmm, I think the way it is with the heading issue, it’s just so bad I can’t leave it like that. Would it help if I produced a banner which pointed to the left instead and had the banner on the right, the form on the left? Or still wouldnt be any better?
