When TranslatePress is disabled, all emails are in Chinese (Hong Kong).

Have asked the TP team (link in the first post), they offered a solution but it feels like too much a workaround, wondering if there can be a simpler solution.

I agree with you that it’s best to keep things aligned with the WordPress philosophy. Too many hacks outside the mainline just make it more difficult to maintain in the long run…

This shouldn’t be a problem specifically for your plugin though, however my brief searches didn’t turn up anything interesting. The closest I got is this (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/product-dimensions-vs-shipping-dimensions/), which doesn’t seem to be a very elegant solution.

IMO, Woocommerce should just make it default to provide 2 sets of fields, item weight/dimensions and shipping weight/dimensions.

Anyhow, for my use case, perhaps a general or per item/category multiplier would suffice. Right now my site is undercharging for some shipments, but that’s something I can manage for the time being.

I gather that the downloadable theme is different from that of wordpress.com (have another site hosted there also using Dyad 2), some functions are missing, but still very nice.
