I agree that this is a drawback to this plugin, but I consider it very minor. I think they mean “not reserved seating”. Reserved seating would require the $29 seating option. I wish they would allow us to change the wording from “standing” to whatever we want. In my case I would use “general admission”. As a user of this plugin (not associated with the developer), I’m not sure this one minor, IMHO, thing deserves a 1 star rating for an otherwise great plugin.

In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Duplicate Event ImageI had that problem for quite some time already. I had to go in and change the default post template to remove the image from the template. That has the downside that regular posts (when displaying an individual post) no longer display the image. But since 99% of my usage is for events, I decided I could live with that. I’m now starting to do additional regular post, so it is becoming more of an issue. Sorry, not much help.
The new image setting are on the “Settings”, “Frontend Views”, “Event” area where you can set image height, width and alignment. I’m guessing that what they are referring to.

In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Sunday to SaturdayThat is set in your WordPress settings: general
Update: Since I posted this message this morning, 2 of the welcome e-mails have been sent, one at 2:02 pm and one at 2:12 pm. The third one disappeared. (It is not in the scheduled tasks, running tasks or completed tasks lists.) I switched from the wp cron to the Linux cron (a week ago) to try to get more regular and predictable sending, but alas …
I agree that the checkbox should work as you expect. It’s acting like a radio group. I was just offering a less that perfect alternative. Good luck.
Ask three questions?
I do not know if this is your issue or not, but in the past I have had issues with some email client not being able to view images not in jpg format. I now only use jpg for any image that might go into an e-mail.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] id= tag on textAdditional information:
Since I cannot create the id= tag in MailPoet, I found a workaround that works when I preview the email, but not in the email received by the recipient.
I am using the Event Calendar Newsletter plugin to generate the lists of auditions and events from EventPrime. The shortcode that I use in MailPoet can include a “header” section prior to the events list. I include the id= tag in that header. When I preview the email (post notification set to send every Sunday evening) the links from the top of the newsletter to the “Auditions” and “Events” works great. It does just what I expect. But in the email as received by the recipients the link goes to to some invalid blank page ( for example: https://mn-act.net/?mailpoet_router&endpoint=track&action=click&data=WyIyIiwiYTZlMWIxIiwiMyIsIjZmYzRlY2NiMTMyNyIsZmFsc2Vd) and I get an error that says “page isn’t redirecting properly”.
I really need the id= tag to work in MailPoet. My list of auditions and events covers 2 weeks and there could be as many as 20 events on a single day. The ability to jump to the various sections of the email is quite important to us. I don’t know much (to say the least) about email sending, so I don’t understand why allowing an id= tag in a text field is not allowed.
Other than the above, I’m quite happy with MailPoet and what I can do with it.
Thank you for your help.
While that may be a workaround, it does not address the original problem This, IMHO, is clearly a bug that I think was introduced in a recent update.
With previous and next month’s events allowed to be shown, if you look at October’s monthly calendar, it has the events for Wednesday thru Saturday, November 1 – 4 shown to complete the last week in October, as expected. But it also displays events for November 5 – 11, an entire additional week that should not be there.
I really like EventPrime and don’t plan on changing any time soon. (If ever!) It is easy to use, works really well and support is superior. But, as with almost all software, there are a few minor things that should be addressed.
I used the language tab in setup to change “performer(s)” to “show(s)” and “organizer(s)” to “theatre(s)”. That doesn’t change it everywhere but it’s much better.

In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Events List SortI am running 3.1.8 and this does not appear to be working. I selected “start date” and refreshed the browser and the order of events did not change. (They are not in start date order.)

In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Remove view optionsThank you for the information. Adding the “agenda” view as an option solved that problem.
But I don’t know what you mean by “unselect them individually”. How do I do that?
Neither am I anymore. Have no idea what was wrong. Thanks for looking into this.

In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Line return missingI’m guessing you are talking about the event description. If so, you are probably in “visual” editor mode. If you switch to “text” more (upper right corner of editor), you can enter a <br /> wherever you want a linefeed.
