I got that error while activating the buddypress plugin. It makes bring down the entire site.

I don’t think that’s a good usability ( having Ask via menu as the only way). That maybe a good option for those who have Q&A site with WP theme. For sits that use it as a feature, Ask question should be in the place within the Q&A page. Like how it was in 1.4.3 version.

I can add a menu item as temp fix, but you should add Ask in the same location as before as well.

Why would you push a beta version to WP repository?

I removed he questions part. As you can see there’s no button to Ask question.

Views Count is moved to a line below the Questions. That solves #6.

9. Reputation Points is calculating only for new answers, not for existing answers, questions and comments.

Plus, options tab doesn’t load.

Clicking on Layout, Questions, doesn’t settings specific to that tab.

Need the following 2 features in 2.0

1. Questions Held in Moderation State
2. Ability to Edit Permalink in Edit Questions page.

I ran into the same. Here’s what I did.

Go to Settings > Permalinks

Change to Default

Then Save Changes.

Then Change back to your previous selection (Post Name in my case).

Then save the changes. You will be good to go.

Fix – Update the error message located within the function includes>answers-form.php>validate_question_form( )

Change letters to words in 2 instances ( title and question)

bbpress import will be wonderful. I’m retiring bbpress for anspress and would like to this ASAP ( even premium option will work).

I had the previous plugin installed first ( from original author). Maybe that could have caused this.

I haven’t made any change to the default template.

I see the problems. Following was the default fields in the Reply Email Template:

Hello!

A new reply has been posted by [reply-author].
Topic title: [reply-title]
Topic url: [topic-url]
Topic Author : [topic-author]

Excerpt:
[reply-excerpt]

Topic URL and Author should be [reply-url] and [reply-author]

After that change, links work.
