Hi again. Just wanted to come back with an update. I copied my site to a staging server, switched to the TwentyTwenty default WP theme, and deactivated every plugin except for WP LinkedIn Auto Publish. My plugin settings are the same as I showed a few posts back (the company page is the only one that is selected). And again, it shared to both my personal and company pages.
Since it isn’t a theme or plugin conflict, and you can’t recreate this problem yourself — does that mean the server is the problem? I don’t know how the plugin works, but is it possible that our hosting server could affect this? We are hosted on WP Engine if that sheds any light? We have the most recent version of the plugin and WP.
Thanks for any insight you may be able to share.

I am having an issue with the Pro API and LinkedIn, and I can’t get the developer to respond to me either. I’ve had bad support every time I have asked a question. You get a fairly quick boilerplate response, and then you never hear from him again.
Okay, I shared 8 posts again today, this time using the individual post metabox (not the “share now” link in the posts table). The metabox ONLY shows our company page (the personal page is not even an option to select or deselect), and again it shared to both our personal and company pages. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. There are no errors in the log. Do you know why this is happening??

I shared 8 posts on Friday using this method:
1. In main plugin settings, I connected our account, and both personal and company profiles were visible. I deselected the personal profile so that only the company profile is selected. Automatic sharing is turned off.
2. I went to the Posts section, and clicked the “Share Now” link on 8 existing posts in the posts table (these posts already existed but had not been shared to LinkedIn before).
3. The 8 posts shared to both personal and company profiles.
On Friday, I will have a new batch of posts to share, so I will try again. I will share them from inside the posts this time, rather than use the “share now” link. I was hoping I could use the share now link as that would be faster than opening each post one at a time, but it sounds like I am misunderstanding how that link should work.)

Thank you. I’m not sure I understand what you mean by the ‘share now’ link not sharing anything if the post hasn’t already been shared before? The ‘share now’ link does successfully share posts that have not been shared before — but it shares them to both the personal and company page at the same time (even though both the main plugin settings and the individual post settings only show the company page as an option. Can you confirm that is the intended behavior of that link?
If so… if we want to share to our company page only (manually) — the only way to do that is by opening the post itself and sharing it via the metabox. Is that correct?

Hi, I am using the “Share Now” link in the main Posts table. However, I confirmed, when I click to edit the individual post, in the WP LinkedIn Auto Publish meta box, only our company page is visible. Is the Share Now link in the main posts table not taking the settings into account?

Thanks Natalie. Any chance you have an ETA on this addition? (Like, 3 months, 6 months…?) Trying to decide whether I need to switch to a different plugin or if I can wait it out. I like this plugin better than the others, otherwise!

In reply to: [ACF: Better Search] Compatbility with Search & Filter pluginThank you. I rolled back to 3.3.2 and it still didn’t work, so I guess it never did. I ended up using a custom function I found on github to add specific ACF fields to the main WP search, and that method was compatible with Search & Filter, so I no longer need this plugin. I will consider it again for other projects, as I do like the interface.

I tried to make it work with a custom WP_Query of the event post type, by adding a custom field for “featured” with a value of “1” and then setting the orderby parameter to “orderby” => “meta_value_num eventstart”. But this doesn’t quite work, and in any case, it doesn’t affect the archives or shortcode lists.
Is this possible?
Hi, I just updated and I can no longer select my company page. Only my profile. Before updating, we had the option of our personal profile AND the company page.
Can you clarify what I need to do to get the company page back?

I create a dev site using the default WP theme, and only the AMR and AMR Plus Groupings plugins activated. I created 4 users and confirmed each user has a value for the grouping field. The same problem exists there as well. I will send you an email with a link, if you’d like to check it out.
The field I’m using for grouping comes from “Events Manager Pro” plugin. The value is populated via a select box in the user profile. The value is plain text.
Administrators, Editors and Authors do not use this field, but all Subscribers (we renamed this role Teachers) do have a value for this field, and our User Lists only contain users in this role.

In reply to: [amr users] Adding a grouping breaks a listI’m sorry for adding a million posts to this thread! But I wanted to update the steps required to “fix” this (temporarily). This is a revision to my second post with Steps 1-5, which is much simpler:
This is how I can fix the missing groups:
1. Set the Grouping to “none”.
2. Rebuild the list cache
3. Set the grouping back to my desired field (dbem_school_division).In this case the groups are correct (not broken up as I described in my third post). BUT, as soon as I rebuild the cache, it breaks again. Meaning: no grouping, just a single dash at the top of the list.
I have turned off my schedule twice-daily caching for now, until we figure out what is going wrong. I apologize if this is not the place to discuss amr groupings. I have an active license for support, but could not find an email address to write you directly.
