Thanks a lot for the clear explanation @mazedulislamkhan.
Good to know that I recover all my settings, meta titles and meta description when I re-install the plugin. That’s what I wanted to make sure.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] yoast disabled/greyed out in admin panelHello,
Excuse me, what was the end on this issue?
With yesterday update, I experienced something similar. Yoast SEO just disappeared from my list of plugins, it’s gone. It’s like if I had uninstalled it, but obviously I didn’t.
If I search for it on plugins browser, it gives me the option to “install” it, like if I hadn’t already installed it and activated it like since 3 months ago.
Do you have any ideas why this happened?
Thanks a lot,
LuisHello,
Excuse me, I couldn’t understand well.
Then, if the Yoast SEO plugin is uninstalled, will all meta titles, meta descriptions, slugs and meta tags disappear?
I ask this because with yesterday update, something happened and the plugin just disappeared. It is not in my plugins list anymore. If I search for it, it gives me the option to download it and activate it, like if I had never installed it.
Could you please help me with this issue?
Thanks,

In reply to: http 500 error after editing functions.php file of my themeI had the same problem, and for me, it worked to go to /wp-content/themes/showcase-pro.
There, I renamed the functions.php file. Then, I went to my wp-admin, Appearance, Editor, and deleted the thing that I had added to the functions.php file, then saved it.
Once saved it, I came back to /wp-content/themes/showcase-pro and put the original name back for the functions.php.
And that was it. Problem solved.
I hope it can help you.
