Update: I disabled some suspicious plug-ins on the server and then was able to log in again and reset all settings I made in WP Hide.

Thanks god the site is sound again.

sorry again, never mind, I found a css formatting that made the field inacessible.

in the meantime I added the translation to a de_DE .po file and uploaded it to the lang directory, but the placeholder text doesn’t change.

thanks for your reply and for fixing it in the next version.
In the meantime I insert the content of a post containing the fdm-menu shortcode on the page using the Insert Pages PlugIn and let the post expire with the Post Expirator Plug-In. A bit complicated, but working well.
