I understand what you are saying but it would be what they have searched for.

Users would select the area they want on the homepage (toys DVDs) then they’d filter by series, character or story. But I want to show all the posts on the filtered pages as that’s the view they’d want.

These are the lists I’ve got

This is how I want them displayed. At the moment I can only filter in page by class tags at the top with jquery

Thank’s for your help, I’ve used the Bad Behaviour plugin in the past but it didn’t stop the spam. AVH worked at first but now the spam is back.

The only thing that worked recently was the two above and spamfree but I obviously don’t want to use that any more as it could be a security risk.

I’ve got comments with links to be held in the moderation queue at the moment which seems to be the only way apart from a captcha. I wanted to avoid using a captcha as people were put off by it before.

I’ve currently got the URL field hidden via the css so it wouldn’t matter to me if this wasn’t there. If there is anyway to stop the comment if this field had been filled I think that would solve my problem.

I’ve just switched back, /page/1/ works fine when there is no static front page selected

I’ve also just tried selecting ‘Your latest posts’ and setting home.php as my default home template and it does the same thing /page/1/ just displays the homepage

Thanks, but I don’t think that would help.

I want to upgrade my website to the latest version of wordpress,

but if I upgrade then this page, https://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/page/1/ will only display the homepage template.

Again its hopefully something simple, I just can’t work out why the newer version seems to ignore this view as it seems really useful.

    Hope this is clearer
