Just for reference, I’m not running into this problem with a fresh install of 4.6.1 running the Twenty Sixteen theme. Maybe it’s a conflict with something in your theme?

I’m not saying it’s the theme’s fault, just that it doesn’t happen in Twenty Sixteen and a clean install.

Still getting exactly the same error on 4.5.2. Shame, since I’m highly unlikely to pay for the pro version if the free one doesn’t work.

As dtynan mentioned, I’ve successfully used https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/postman-smtp/ to send the email from and O365 install and everything works perfectly. I tried a few different WordPress SMTP plugins and none of them came even close to being as straightforward to setup as Postman (that email log is indispensable).

I’ve just run into this as well. Reading the plugin I thought you had to install and activate the Jetpack plugin Markdown module.

Definitely a problem with IE8. IE9+ works just fine, but IE8 throws an error and doesn’t even start downloading for me.

I’ve tested the download on its own (Download Monitor shortcode in a test page, without using EBD or Contact Form 7) and it works just fine.

Good catch. A simple edit to the saveWithKeyboard.min.js file corrects this.

A “reset/erase all form data” button would be great.

I’m not sure what this change does, but it would be nice if the author of the plugin could comment on this change as to why it might not be a good idea or why it couldn’t be implemented into the main plugin.
